Rachel Bloom Warranty Policy

At Rachel Bloom, we believe that innovation should be backed by trust. Our smart bags are designed with advanced anti-theft features and premium craftsmanship, and we stand behind that with a clear, customer-first warranty policy.


1-Year Limited Warranty (Included)

Every Rachel Bloom smart bag includes a 1-year limited warranty, beginning from the date of your order. This warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship related to the smart technology embedded within your bag.

Covered Components:

  • Fingerprint lock module
  • GPS tracking hardware
  • Internal electronics, including battery and charging components
  • Wiring or circuitry that supports smart features

What’s Included:

  • Repair the issue at no cost (excluding shipping), or
  • Replace the defective component (or the entire smart module) if repair is not possible

We aim to resolve all warranty issues quickly and efficiently to ensure minimal disruption.

What’s Not Covered:

  • Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, or fabric-related scuffing
  • Accidental damage, water immersion, or misuse
  • Issues caused by attempted self-repair or third-party servicing
  • Lost or stolen bags

Optional 3-Year Extended Warranty

For those who want added peace of mind, we offer a 3-Year Extended Warranty upgrade for $100, available during checkout.

This upgrade extends your total warranty coverage from 1 year to 3 full years, protecting the core smart features of your bag for long-term use, whether you travel frequently, use your bag daily, or just want the extra security of knowing you're covered.

Extended Warranty Benefits:

  • Full coverage of the fingerprint lock, GPS feature (if applicable), and internal electronics for 3 years
  • No additional repair or replacement fees during the coverage period (excluding shipping)
  • Priority handling for repairs or replacements
  • Extended coverage activates automatically with your original purchase date and confirmation of the upgrade

How to Add It:

Simply click the dropdown arrow in the Add 3-Year Extended Warranty? box in your cart (Your Bag) and choose 'Yes'. A link to these Warranty Terms will be available there so you can review the full terms before opting-in.

Important Note on Eligibility

The 3-Year Extended Warranty must be added at the time of purchase during the checkout process. Unfortunately, we are unable to add the extended warranty retroactively after an order has been placed.

Out-of-Warranty Repairs

Didn’t purchase the extended warranty but need a repair after your 1-year coverage has ended? No problem.

We offer a flat repair fee of $125, plus shipping, for any out-of-warranty technology-related issues. This includes evaluation, component replacement (if needed), and functionality testing.

To initiate a repair, contact our team and we’ll guide you through the process.


Submitting a Warranty Claim

To file a claim or request service:

  1. Contact our support team at support@rachelbloom.com
  2. Provide your order number, a description of the issue, and any photos or video if applicable
  3. Our team will respond within 1–2 business days with next steps
