1. Agreement to These Terms

This website and the related Rachel Bloom services are operated by Rachel Bloom. References to “Rachel Bloom,” “Bloom,” “we,” “us,” and “our” in these Terms refer to the Rachel Bloom business providing the applicable product or service.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your access to and use of our websites (the “Sites”), the Rachel Bloom mobile application (the “App”), Rachel Bloom products, smart-product features, GPS services, and other related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing our Sites, creating an account, using the App or Services, or purchasing or using a Rachel Bloom product, you agree to these Terms and to policies incorporated by reference, including our Privacy Policy, Return Policy, Shipping Policy, and applicable Warranty terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the applicable Services.

2. Eligibility & Appropriate Use

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to make purchases or create an account. If you permit a minor to possess or use a Rachel Bloom product, you are responsible for supervising that use as permitted by applicable law.

You may not use our Sites, App, products, or Services for unlawful purposes, to violate the rights of another person, to interfere with or circumvent security features, to introduce malicious code, or to misuse our systems or networks.

3. Orders, Product Information & Pricing

We aim to describe and display our products accurately. Colors, textures, finishes, dimensions, and other visual details may vary slightly due to manufacturing tolerances, natural materials, photography, lighting, and display settings.

Prices, specifications, features, promotions, and availability may change before purchase. We reserve the right to correct errors, refuse or cancel orders, limit quantities, discontinue products or features, and update product information, subject to applicable law. If we cancel an order after payment, we will provide any refund required by law.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate order, payment, and account information.

4. Shipping, Returns & Refunds

Shipping, return eligibility, return windows, fees, and refund procedures are governed by the policies displayed on our Sites at the time applicable to your transaction.

Please review our Return Policy and the shipping information presented during checkout. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable consumer-protection law.

5. Smart Product Features

Depending on the product and configuration purchased, Rachel Bloom smart products may offer features such as fingerprint locking, Bluetooth connectivity, distance monitoring, audible alarms, open/tamper notifications, App connectivity, and optional GPS functionality.

Smart features depend on factors outside Rachel Bloom's complete control, including battery level, device compatibility, Bluetooth range, cellular or GPS coverage, internet availability, mobile operating systems, permissions, third-party infrastructure, environmental conditions, and proper setup and use.

6. Fingerprint Lock & Biometric Functionality

Certain Rachel Bloom products use a physical fingerprint sensor to provide local biometric unlocking. The Rachel Bloom App communicates with the lock over Bluetooth to initiate and manage enrollment.

The lock's fingerprint hardware generates and stores the fingerprint model used for unlocking. The Rachel Bloom App does not receive or store your fingerprint image or biometric template, and our current App implementation does not transmit a fingerprint image or biometric template to Rachel Bloom's servers or LandAirSea.

The App may receive operational information such as enrollment status and may display the name you assign to an enrolled fingerprint. Enrolled fingerprints can be deleted from the product through the App while connected to the product.

Fingerprint recognition is a convenience and security feature, but no biometric system is infallible. Performance may be affected by finger placement, moisture, dirt, injury, sensor condition, battery state, or other environmental or technical factors. You should maintain any available backup access method and follow the product instructions.

7. Optional GPS Services & Renewal

GPS is optional and is available only on compatible Rachel Bloom products purchased with GPS capability. GPS is not required to use the fingerprint lock.

Rachel Bloom partners with LandAirSea Systems to provide the underlying GPS service. When GPS is activated, location information is processed through LandAirSea's infrastructure so that compatible location functionality can be displayed within the Rachel Bloom App.

For eligible GPS-equipped purchases, the first 12 months of GPS service are included from the applicable purchase/activation period stated at purchase.

After the included period, continued GPS service is currently offered at $99 for 12 months. Where you enroll in automatic renewal, the service will renew annually at the then-current disclosed price unless you cancel before the renewal date. We will present applicable renewal terms and pricing in the App or otherwise as required by law. You may cancel future renewal through the available in-App cancellation method or by contacting help@rachelbloom.com.

Pricing and subscription offerings may change for future renewal periods, but any changes will be disclosed as required by applicable law before they take effect.

GPS availability and accuracy are not guaranteed. Performance may be affected by cellular coverage, satellite visibility, indoor environments, signal obstruction, device battery, network availability, maintenance, third-party outages, and other technical or environmental factors.

8. Anti-Theft Materials & Security Features

Slash-resistant lining

Rachel Bloom bags may include a high-density woven slash-resistant layer designed to increase resistance to cutting, tearing, or forced intrusion. It is intended as a deterrent and does not make a product cut-proof or impervious to deliberate attack, extreme force, powered tools, or every method of intrusion.

Slash-resistant zipper

Where offered, a slash-resistant zipper is designed to provide increased resistance to cutting, slashing, or prying compared with conventional zipper construction. It is not guaranteed to prevent every attempt at unauthorized access.

RFID blocking card

Where supplied or purchased, an RFID blocking card provides a preventative layer intended to reduce certain forms of contactless scanning. Effectiveness can depend on placement, wallet or bag construction, condition, and environment. It does not guarantee prevention of digital theft or fraud.

We may improve or modify materials, hardware, and product specifications over time provided that doing so does not unlawfully reduce rights associated with an existing purchase.

9. Warranty, Extended Warranty & Repairs

Every eligible Rachel Bloom smart bag includes a 1-year limited technology warranty, subject to the full warranty terms. Covered components generally include the fingerprint lock, GPS hardware where applicable, battery/charging components, internal wiring, and related smart electronics.

An optional 3-year extended warranty may be available for $100 and, where offered, must be added within the eligibility period stated at purchase or on our Warranty page.

For eligible out-of-warranty technology repairs, Rachel Bloom currently offers a $125 service fee plus applicable shipping, subject to inspection and the current repair policy.

Warranty coverage does not generally include normal wear, cosmetic damage, accidental damage, water immersion, misuse, unauthorized modification or repair, or lost/stolen products.

10. Product Care, Charging & Operating Conditions

Follow the care and charging instructions supplied with your product and in our current support materials. Avoid water immersion, excessive impact, unauthorized repair, and environmental conditions outside the product's specified operating range.

Use a compatible, good-quality charging cable and power source. Damage caused by misuse, unsuitable charging equipment, unauthorized modification, or environmental exposure may not be covered by warranty.

11. Law Enforcement, Customs & Other Authorities

You are responsible for deciding how to respond to lawful requests or demands from law enforcement, customs, airport security, or other governmental authorities concerning access to your product or belongings. Rachel Bloom and its technology partners are not responsible for your decision to comply or decline to comply with such a request, subject to rights and obligations imposed by applicable law.

If Rachel Bloom receives valid legal process requiring disclosure of information in our possession, we will respond as required by law. Where legally permitted and appropriate, we may notify the affected customer. Our handling of personal information is further described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Third-Party Services & Links

Our Services may rely on or link to third-party services, including ecommerce, payment, communications, hosting, mapping, GPS, and other technology providers. Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies.

Rachel Bloom is not responsible for independent third-party websites or services that we do not control. Your use of those services may be subject to separate agreements between you and the applicable provider.

13. Privacy

Your use of the Sites, App, smart-product functionality, and GPS features is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains the different data flows associated with website activity, App/account information, fingerprint functionality, and optional GPS services.

In particular, the Rachel Bloom App does not receive or store fingerprint images or biometric templates. GPS location information for activated GPS products is processed as described in the Privacy Policy.

14. Intellectual Property

Rachel Bloom names, logos, designs, product imagery, website content, software interfaces, text, graphics, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Rachel Bloom and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Except as permitted by law or with our written authorization, you may not reproduce, copy, distribute, modify, sell, reverse engineer, exploit, or create derivative commercial works from our protected materials or Services.

15. Acceptable Use

You may not misuse the Sites, App, Services, or connected products. Prohibited conduct includes unauthorized access, interference with security controls, introducing malware, scraping where prohibited by law or technical controls, impersonation, fraudulent activity, infringement of intellectual-property rights, or use of the Services to violate applicable law or the rights of others.

16. Product & Service Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, smart-product and digital Services are provided subject to the limitations inherent in consumer electronics, wireless communications, GPS, Bluetooth, mobile devices, and third-party networks.

Rachel Bloom does not guarantee that any anti-theft feature will prevent theft, loss, unauthorized access, damage, or recovery of a lost or stolen product. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App, GPS, Bluetooth, alerts, or other connected features.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty, guarantee, remedy, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Rachel Bloom and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from or related to use of the Sites, App, Services, or products, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or opportunity.

Rachel Bloom is not an insurer of your bag or its contents and is not responsible merely because a bag or its contents are lost, stolen, damaged, or accessed despite use of an anti-theft feature.

These limitations apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law and do not limit liability or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

18. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rachel Bloom and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, contractors, licensors, and service providers from third-party claims arising from your unlawful misuse of the Services, your material breach of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights.

19. Suspension & Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to all or part of the Services where reasonably necessary because of a material breach of these Terms, fraud, abuse, security risk, legal requirement, nonpayment of an applicable service fee, or discontinuation of a Service.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and governing-law provisions—will survive.

20. Governing Law & Severability

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where the mandatory law of your place of residence provides otherwise.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

Nothing in this section deprives a consumer of mandatory rights or forums that cannot lawfully be waived.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our products, Services, technology, pricing models, providers, business practices, or legal requirements. The current version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

Where required by law, we will provide additional notice of material changes. Changes to subscription pricing or renewal terms will be communicated as required by applicable law.
