Someone had opened her purse and stolen her phone, ID, and credit cards while the purse was on her shoulder. She searched the bar for her belongings, and even checked Find My iPhone to see if she could locate her phone, but by then it was too late. Rachel Bloom is one of over two million people a year to become victim to phone theft. She recognized the problem and set out to find a solution.
